This custom furniture showroom is about as Canadian as it gets. The preferred material is maple, harvested from sustainable forests in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. Dining tables and bench seats look like chunky slabs on sturdy legs, but the workmanship is top-notch with near-invisible joinery and smooth finishes that feel like velvet to the touch. Their Distillery shop includes some spectacular pieces from their Historic Lumber Collection, including an impressively sized dining table made of solid Douglas fir salvaged from the Distillery’s Rack House M building, circa 1927.
