Artemide’s space in the Distillery is a perfect spot for an avant-garde lighting store: its wedge shape is bounded by glass on both sides, meaning the showroom is on full, luminous display 24/7. The showroom offers a small sampling of the full line. The 400- page catalogue outlines Artemide’s range, from outdoor lighting and pot lights to desk lamps, chandeliers and a fluorescent system that can reproduce any colour of light. Pirce, a suspension lamp of fluttering spirals by Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà continues to fly off the shelves.
