Inabstracto

Kate Eisen’s passion for mid-century modern makes her little shop a popular destination for the educated design-seeker. An impeccable selection of vintage American, Scandinavian and Canadian design (think retro Solair chairs and Lotte lamps) sit alongside the cool-since-1935 Anglepoise task lamps from Britain and contemporary textiles designed by local designer Julie Jenkinson. The rear of the shop is now home to Verso, an offbeat collection of vintage and contemporary furniture, lighting, toys and scientific oddities curated by Jenkinson herself.
