Daisuke Kono’s Parkdale vintage shop is a lively mishmash of found and refashioned furnishings, antique typewriters, wall clocks and desk fans, plus the usual assortment of mid-century faves, including teak end tables, Eames chairs and Herman Miller chaises. Eighties Canons and Depression-era Rolleiflex cameras tempt veteran shutterbugs, while a huge century-old newspaper editor’s table should inspire the fantasies of wannabe Woodwards and Bernsteins. Precariously perched Lumina movie projectors and retro mannequins peer down from above.
