Gary Flaherty and Hanson Tan produce furniture with urban edge and attention to detail, sketching on the spot as customers describe their dream furnishings. Their original designs share space in this extravagant shop with such funky exclusives as Rosemary Hallgarten’s hand-painted alpaca throws, Kyle Bunting’s Wild West cowhide rugs and David Weeks Studio’s Calder-esque mobile lamps. Stingray- and goat skin-wrapped tables nod to 1940s art deco in Paris, while reclaimed wood and rubber hanging sculptures by Torontonian upstart Rod Mireau are very here-and now.
