Maro, by the restaurateurs who brought you Brant House and Brassaii, leans more toward the club end of the supper club continuum. Designers Marc Kyriacou and John Tsoumaris have converted this massive warehouse space in Liberty Village into a sleek, Asian-inspired destination for beautiful, hungry people. Servers weave between black tables and large red columns to dispense [No tapas] comfort-food faves like roast chicken with cilantro, pepita and thai rice wrapped in a banana leaf or seafood linguini with clams, rock shrimp, scallops and mussels in a tomato wine sauce. Later in the evening, the music ramps up and the club component goes full-speed ahead. $$$
