The draw at this glam showroom is a practical but outstanding furnishing selection, including Hickory’s exquisitely handcrafted collection of classy seating, tables and casegoods. Among the imports from across the Atlantic are mod-minimalist black leather furnishings by Arca and Jonathan Browning’s extravagant, handmade chandeliers in solid bronze. But it’s worth spending a bit of extra time seeking out the intriguing and slightly exotic accessories, such as Porta Romana’s console table with a honeycomb base in distressed silver and Italian lambskin cushions and throws. SHH also carries Gaetano Pesce’s covetous resin vases.
