Here lies a mountain of inspiration: CT&M’s capacious warehouse is packed with dreamy surfacing materials. In the nearly 930-square-metre space, some 600 different slabs are organized by material, each propped up so you can see exactly what you’re getting. Calacatta and Bianco Carrara marble varieties bear an appeal as time-tested as their durability; meanwhile onyx, a form of quartz featuring bands of shimmery colour, is wonderfully suited to kitchens. Across the street at 23 Apex Road, CT&M’s tile showroom (also designed by Munge Leung) offers a curated selection of finished glass, marble and mosaic tiles by Sicis.
