After 11 years on King West, interior designer Christopher Wood has traded in a below-grade retail space for this loftier outlet. The former Legion Hall’s massive windows perfectly frame the sleek-meets-artsy mix of goods within: sculptural resin furnishings by Martha Sturdy, Brothers Dressler’s tree branch–like chandeliers dripping with Swarovski crystals and Parrot’s trumpet-shaped iPod speakers by Philippe Starck. Refubished vintage pieces include a marble and brass side table/floor lamp. The apartment setup downstairs spotlights L.A.’s latest offering, a modern kitchen system by Italy’s Cesar.
