Toronto’s venerable ceramic museum is worth visiting, if only to peruse its adjunct store; the tiny, glass-enclosed shop is chock full of intriguing pieces by Canadian and international artisans working in ceramic, glass and wood. Among the noteworthy offerings are Vancouver ceramicist Heather Braundahl, whose floral bowls are just the ticket for eating alfresco, and Jeff Goodman Studio’s rainbow-coloured selection of twisted glass vessels. New to the gift shop are ceramic dishes by Middle Kingdom and wood bowls by Michael Sbrocca.
