Royal Ontario Museum

Most people know the ROM for its iceberg-like shape, a major expansion by Daniel Libeskind that locals love to hate. Inside is a world-class collection of artifacts that reach back to the dinosaurs. The biggest crowd-pleaser is the newly upgraded Bat Cave that’s intended for kids but can also cause adults to run for cover. The interactive exhibition, Water, runs this summer and reveals how nature and humanity are intertwined.
