Owners Gary Flaherty and Hanson Tan produce furniture with urban edge and attention to detail, sketching on the spot as customers describe their dream furnishings. Their original designs share space with such funky exclusives as Rosemary Hallgarten’s hand-painted alpaca throws, Kyle Bunting’s Wild West cowhide rugs and David Weeks Studio’s Calder-esque mobile lamps. Stingray- and goatskin-wrapped tables nod to 1940s art deco, while reclaimed-wood-and-rubber hanging sculptures by Torontonian upstart Rod Mireau are here-and-now.
