Since opening in 2007, Marben has become the choice after-work destination. Its "farmhouse revival" menu is rich with local ingredients (there's an in-house butcher) and the space offers plenty to look at as well: light fixtures are made from mason jars and whisks; an undulating bulkhead is crafted out of birchply; and the comfy booths are dressed in recycled leather. Bavette, an Italian-style bar directly below the dining toom, is the latest addition.
