5 Bluetooth Speakers With Amped-Up Design

Five of our favourite bluetooth speakers deliver concert-quality sound at home

By Designlines

Get into the groove of summer with five design-forward bluetooth speakers that walk the line between technology and home decor.

With up to 24 hours of playtime, the Beoplay A1 bluetooth speaker delivers 360 degree sound in any room in the house. Plus, it’s super cute. $300, at BANG & OLUFSEN

The Baggen bluetooth speaker by Urbanears features well-balanced sound with a deep base that fills large rooms (open concept? check) and patios. The fabric-wrapped case comes in six colours, though we’re currently loving this retro orange crush version. $480, at INDIGO

Designed by HAY, this limited edition Sonos One collection boasts five colours from the Danish brand’s 2018 palette. That must be the reason they work so well as sound systems and home decor. $300, at BAY BLOOR RADIO

Inside this sleekPR/01 box by Native Union and La Boite are two speakers inside a multi-amplified pneumatic system. This tech produces incredible sound fidelity, even for low-frequency sounds. $800, at HOLT RENFREW

The discrete Eneby bluetooth speaker from Ikea is completely portable, and delivers clear sound the can be controlled with a single knob. We like it mounted on the wall, as seen here. $60, at IKEA
