7 St. Thomas Combines Work and Playful Architecture
Hariri Pontarini Architects get down to business in Yorkville
7 St. Thomas is one of the city’s first office condo towers, letting businesses buy rather than rent their units. Featuring an undulating glass facade, the nine-storey development is a shorter cousin of Hariri Pontarini Architects’ nearby residential condo tower, One Bloor. Rather than a fitness centre, amenities here include a spacious boardroom and landscaped green roofs. Six Victorian townhouses at street level will be incorporated into the design as luxury storefronts.
