2026 DesignTO Festival

From January 23rd to February 1st, the 16th edition of DesignTO returns for another exciting year
Attention art and design lovers! The 16th annual DesignTO Festival returns January 23 – February 1, 2026. Check out multiple venues across Toronto for 10 days of inspiring exhibitions, installations, and events.
As Canada’s largest annual design festival, DesignTO transforms Toronto into a creative hub, featuring over 100 free exhibitions and events. Over the past 15 years, this festival has welcomed over 1 million attendees, showcased 7,000+ creatives, reached billions through media, and generated significant tourism impact. Explore bold and ambitious ideas that respond to the climate crisis, social justice, technology, craft, and more.
Kicking off the 10-day festival, don’t forget to grab your tickets for the official 2026 DesignTO Launch Party on January 23rd at 7PM, located at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto (MOCA). This event brings together Toronto’s creative community and serves as a fundraiser for future DesignTO endeavours. Ticket proceeds will support their purpose of advancing the public’s appreciation of the arts by bringing people together to see how design can build a better future. Experience three floors of legendary Canadian artist Jeff Wall’s extensive 1984–2023 photography exhibition — with sounds curated by local·global featuring Isabel Okoro and Adeola Abegunde — connect with the creative community, and dance the night away.
