Toronto artist Margaret Priest’s Construction Series is a love letter to tradespeople inspired by her own working-class upbringing in post-war Britain. Through sculptures, drawings, prints and paintings, the artist explores building materials like concrete and marble to reveal the hidden processes involved in working with each.
