DesignTO Tours: PurParket

DesignTO invites industry for exclusive look at the flooring manufactures state-of-the-art Toronto facility

DesignTO is set to host architects, interior designers and design media for ‘DesignTO Tours: PurParket’, an exclusive look at the Toronto floor manufacturer’s facility and their new collection of engineered hardwood colours.

Attendees will join PurParket’s owners Nick and Daniela Zaremba and DesignTO Artistic Director Deborah Wang for in-depth tours of the manufacturing facility accompanied by a special food experience.

The food experience, led by Future Food Studio, will bring together the senses, ingredients and techniques of the flooring manufacturer. This experience will take attendees through a journey of PurParket’s newest colour lines, which draw inspiration from Canadian geographies, like the sunshine coast of Sechelt, B.C., Georgian Bay’s Honey Harbour and the mountains of Jasper.

Dr. Irwin Adam and his team at Future Food Studio “explore the intersection of design, technology, science, and food through a multi-sensory foodscape.”
