With its next brush stroke, OCAD U will transform the brick building below the Sharp Centre for Design into another artistic masterpiece. The school has recruited L.A.’s Thom Mayne – best known locally as the architect behind U of T’s polarizing steel-and-concrete–clad Graduate House. Teeple Architects and Two Row Architect of the Six Nations will collaborate on this latest undertaking, which encompasses a library expansion, fresh studio space and an Indigenous Visual Culture and Student Centre. ocadu.ca
