Ayê

Delicate enough to pass as a speckled robin’s egg, each one-of-a-kind concrete lamp from Lalaya showcases the studio’s slight of hand with industrial materials. Ayê, which means earth or physical world in Yoruba, lives up to its name, mimicking the textural variances found in organic forms. The exposed lightbulb reminds us of an elegantly dished, silky egg yolk.
