A recent addition to the Castlefield Design District is Chic by Janssen, a Niagara wholesaler that offers refined European inspiration.

High-quality handcrafted reproduction antique furniture – think Louis XVI and Hepplewhite – includes plush upholstered settees, rosewood occasional tables and burlwood bureaus with hidden compartments. Alongside its traditional furnishings, Chic by Janssen is expanding its offerings to include a more transitional aesthetic; meeting non-traditionalists halfway, a 10-seater dining table is finished in glossy ebony, rather than classic mahogany.
