Coolican’s Toronto-made, heirloom-quality wooden furniture is painstakingly constructed in small batches. C&C’s contemporary takes on classic forms include a lounge version of the Windsor chair and Shaker-inspired stools. Half-blind dovetails, brass-pinned lap joints and thoughtfully placed dowels showcase artisanal skill. Breadboard ends and a spare silhouette give its white-oak Lakeshore dining table a refined look.
