A bigwig in the city’s current cultural renaissance, KPMB Architects has a knack for integrating their designs into the existing landscape in an unobtrusive yet vibrant way. The 21-year-old firm specializes in large public spaces and institutions, and a number of projects across the city are in the works, including the ultra-glam 46-storey Bell Lightbox theatre complex for the Toronto International Film Festival Group at King and John, finished in 2010.
