ITALFEST is Mississauga’s first and premier Italian festival. Named one of the Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario since its inaugural year in 2013, ITALFEST takes place annually in August and is a free event celebrating the beauty of Italian music, heritage and culture. Welcoming 2023 after a record-breaking attendance in 2022, ITALFEST will be celebrating its milestone 10th Anniversary this year at Mississauga’s Celebration Square.
Attendees can look forward to delicious food and crafts from a variety of vendors and artisans, cultural and family-oriented activities, entertainment from local and international talent, a thriving “mercato” (market) and more. The festival spotlights a community rich in heritage, entertainment, culinary delights, family fun and diversity in Ontario.
Direct from Italy, Pino Gioia will host the live-on-air annual Z103.5 Dance Party on Friday featuring Elissa Music, Armando Music, Joee De Simone and DJ Danny D spinning his magic under the stars, emceed by the hilarious and Canadian-Italian Frank Spadone. Saturday is a full day of local and international artists from Michael Occhipinti and The Sicilian Project, Pasta and Watermelon eating contests, Celebrity Chefs, and direct from Italy i mediterranea, Robert Dimeo, Voci Grande ft. Charles Di Raimondo and Elisa Rose; and direct from Italy, international singer and headliner direct from Italy, SANDRO GIACOBBE!
