The Best Black Friday Deals on Furniture, Decor and More

If you’re looking to fill out your space with design classics, fun decor or useful accessories, then now’s the time to buy

By Designlines

While so much about this year is new, unexpected and unwelcome, Black Friday is back, and like past years – predictably, comfortably – there are sales to jump on. So whether you’re looking for a few simple accessories or need to outfit an entire room, we’ve rounded up a list of some of the city’s best sales to get you the stuff – and savings – you need.

AM Studio

If you’re after show-stopping sculptural lighting, look no further: with global brands like Lasvit and Bomma, and an extensive collection of bespoke pieces, AM Studio has you covered. And until December 1, you can get 15-20 per cent off their entire collection.

Calligaris

The Italian manufacturer is offering up to 25 per cent off store-wide, including one of our old favourites: the freestanding Division bookcase, whose open sides are an airy take on a storage necessity.

Design Within Reach

If you were thinking of grabbing an Eames lounge chair, Aeron chair, Noguchi table or other unmistakable classic, you’d best act now: with few exceptions, DWR is offering 15 per cent off everything until December 1.

Ella + Elliot

Won’t someone think of the children? Until November 30, Ella + Elliot is offering up to 25 per cent off, as well as free shipping on orders over $49.

Elte Mkt

For Black Friday 2020, Elte Mkt isn’t messing around. Not only is all Mkt furniture 50 per cent off or more, all Mkt lighting, bed and bath linen, and pillows and throws are on sale starting at 25 per cent off. Select wall prints are also on sale for 30-50 per cent off, while YellowKorner prints are 15 per cent off.

EQ3

EQ3 is offering 20 per cent off all EQ3 products as well as free shipping, so if you held off on picking up their Bingo stool (or Bango and Bongo), now’s the chance to rectify the mistake.

Home Société

Until November 30, buy one item, and get a second one for 25 per cent off. Consider it a good reason to treat yourself twice over to brands like Kartell, Ligne Roset and Must.

Ikea

Ikea is doing Black Friday a little different this year. Instead of putting on a major sale, the conscientiously-minded retailer is offering to buy back your old Ikea stuff for store credit. All you have to do is send in some photos of the old piece, wait for their assessment and drop it off. Find out more here.

Marset

Looking for a design classic? Marset’s portable, rechargeable, pick-up-able Follow-Me lamp is now available in four new shades – blue, pink, terracotta and green – which until December 2 are all on sale for 25 per cent off. The rest of the collection – like the delightful Scotch Club pendant – is on sale for 15 per cent off, too.

Neat

Get yourself sorted out at Neat. Select brands, including Hydraulik, Umbra and Chilewich, are on sale for 20 per cent off until December 1.

Shelter Furniture

Shelter furniture is offering between 25 and 75 per cent off of its entire stock of well-priced furniture. And considering the sheer scope of their collection, you can make off with, well, just about anything you need to get your space up to snuff.

Torp

Fritz Hansen, Georg Jensen and Erik Jorgensen are just a few of the iconic Scandinavian labels on hand, and until December 1, you can get them in your home for 15 per cent off.

Urban Mode

Muuto’s collection of lighting, including pendants and floor and task lamps, embody Scandinavian design’s low-key, statement-making grace, and are now on sale for 15 per cent off at Urban Mode until December 1.

West Elm

With up to 50 per cent off furniture, bedding, decor and other housewares – plus an extra 20 per cent off of clearance items – it’s possible your Black Friday shopping could both start and finish at West Elm.

Designlines

We may be biased, but this might just be the best deal on this list. Using the promo code BLACKFRIDAY, you can get either a single issue or a subscription for 25 per cent off!
