Our Favourite Lighting from LightForm’s Design Sale

Need to light up your life? Some of our old favourites are up for grabs and on the cheap(er)

Have you ever perused the pages of Designlines, fallen in love with something, then balked at the price? It happens – after all, good design often doesn’t come cheap, and the dollars and cents of it all occasionally pushes what we want just out of reach. We have good news, though: LightForm currently has a huge array of lighting on sale, including many of our past faves. Below, we take a look at lighting from earlier issues that’s on sale from now until May 31.

Kazimir

Roll & Hill’s three piece glass, steel and aluminum pendant gets its name from 20th century Russian painter Kazimir Malevich, whose artwork, notably Black Square and White on White, pushed the limits of abstract art. Get it here.

Capsula

Semi-enclosed by an offset glass diffuser, Brokis’s Capsula pendant features asymmetric design and a variety of finishes for both inner and outer shells that’s a stylish fit in any number of spaces. Get it here.

Atmosfera Fringe

Dressed for the Roaring ’20s, Slamp’s Atmosfera Fringe features either a rose or grey skirt recalling a flapper’s dress. Available in two sizes. Check it out here.

Banana Lamp

This Selletti lamp is dimmable, made out of resin and glass and it looks like a banana. Enough said. Get it here.

Seterah 4401

Metal, glass and marble come together in a series of sculptural trajectories in architect Francesco Librizzi’s debut series for FontanaArte. Available in multiple configurations. Get it here.

Atlas

A clash of distinct geometries, Roll & Hill’s polished brass and glass Atlas lamp oozes an elemental style. Also available in black. Get it here.

DL Solar

Solar Light

Foscarini’s hemispherical Solar Light reinterprets the table lamp category. Equally able as a light source and a surface, it’s perfect for late-night gatherings. Get it here.

Pedrera ABC

Designed in homage to architect Barba Corsini’s PD2 table lamp, which itself was designed for Antoni Gaudi’s La Pedrera, the Pedrera ABC is equal parts table lamp and conversation starter. Available in multiple finishes. Get it here.

Entrants have until February 13th to submit their best work

It’s that time of year again! The 2026 AZ Awards is officially open for submissions. Recognizing international design excellence from the world’s top architects and designers, the 11 main categories are: Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interiors, Urban Design, Experiential Graphic Design, Concepts, Emerging, A+ Award for Student Work, Social Good and Environmental Leadership. Last year, AZURE inaugurated the EMERGING Awards to celebrate up-and-coming firms established within the past 10 years in each of the four top categories: Design, Architecture, Landscape and Interiors. Plus, there are more Interiors categories than ever (including Retail & Hospitality, Healthcare, Workspace and Institutional) as well as one recently added in Design (Housewares and Tech Products) — and AZURE will publish its extensive longlist online ahead of the jury-selected shortlist, celebrating a greater spectrum of excellent projects.
